Enjoy our Lord Mayor’s City Hall Concerts for your free lunchtime concert in the City Hall from February through to November every Tuesday. Concerts are FREE! (No bookings required)

This concert will include a selection of melodious works for flute (Dr Karen Lonsdale), cello (Renat Yusupov), and piano (Dr Hila Yusupov) by composers from the East to the West.

Then enjoy a fascinating musical trip with Francis Gilfedder around the monsoonal countries of India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, China, and Japan. Experience a diverse set of traditional flutes and other instruments, including the tabla, pungi, or snake charmer’ danmoi jaw harp, crafted from a Vietnam War bullet, and the khaen, an ancestor of the pipe organ.
