Rotary Carols by Candlelight will be held on 9 December 2023, at Dorrington Park, Mirrabooka Road, Ashgrove, starting at 4:30pm. Several bands will be participating and the Lord Mayor and his family have been invited to attend. Everyone is welcome to attend, so come down with your family and have a picnic. Plenty of food and drink will be available for sale.

After Santa’s visit, Jenny Woodward, the ABC TV and radio presenter, will introduce a night of your favourite Carols with backing from the Queensland Wind Orchestra and a 50 person Choir until around 8.00pm.

Then the big finish, a dazzling fireworks display.

Our Carols by Candlelight is an annual event organised by The Rotary Club of Ashgrove/The Gap. The event is widely supported by the local residents, the business community, with funding provided by Brisbane City Council’s Festival Fund and the Lord Mayor’s Suburban Initiative Program through The Enoggera Ward Office, The Gap Ward Office and Rotary Ashgrove/The Gap.
